THE WORK OF THE CATALITIC HISPANIC CHURCH PLANTER
OCTOBER 2010 – OCTOBER 2011

The Hispanic work is progressing well. The numbers are growing in the Bible studies and there is a developing interest among the Hispanics of the community. The average attendance in our Bible study, Pan de Vida, (Bread of Life) of Pineville has increased from 12 in 2010 to 20 for this year. We are currently meeting in the fellowship hall of the BMC building on Thursday nights with the anticipation of beginning a Sunday afternoon services soon. Developing leaders and Evangelism is our focus for the next year.
We continue to work on developing additional Bible study groups in other parts of the area. This is an important factor to the development of a strong foundation and leadership to the beginning church. Another encouraging factor to the Hispanics is the network of Hispanic believers throughout the state. The fellowship of Hispanic believers is a vital part in the growth and evangelism for all Hispanic churches.

The opportunity to reach more Hispanics is increasing as we are developing contacts in the Hispanic community in the mall of Alexandria, Hispanic Soccer leagues in Forest Hill and near the Airport.  We are anxiously anticipating what the Father will do in 2012 in the development of a Hispanic Church in the area.

Your continued prayer support is vital to the ongoing ministry to the non English-speaking people within the Cenla area.
